When the console of my new Salcombe Flyer came away from the deck a few months after delivery, Guy examined the boat and reported on the reasons for its failure. Guy’s report was very detailed and professional, and showed clearly that there were problems with how the boat had been constructed, with the builder failing to use either adhesive or screws to fix the console.
