Play d’eau, our Fleming 55 trawler yacht, had broken out in hundreds of small blisters from the waterline to the top horizontal surfaces of the pilot house roof and seating. Guy of Solent Marine Surveys took control, analysed the cause and the remedy, and worked with a GRP Repair specialist firm in Southampton. As work progressed, additional issues were found below the waterline. Voids and pin prick holes were found in the hull requiring a full peeling and re-build. Guy was simply superb. Conscientious and meticulous. I’d recommend him to anyone, anywhere. You won’t be disappointed.
