This 2010 Princess 50, built by Princess Yachts International in Plymouth, UK has to be one of the best of the modern designs. With a solid build and single skin / monolithic GRP to the hull there are rarely any structural issues found on these craft. Coupled with the strong build, modern resins and a very efficient and well-designed layout, these craft are a very popular choice in this size range.

This one had twin Caterpillar C12 engines, which were sea trialled and evaluated by a qualified marine engineer, who was able to plug in diagnostic equipment to better understand the history and servicing of the propulsion systems than a visual inspection only would allow.

You can read the survey scope for motor yachts here and we are happy to provide contact details for marine engineers in the Solent area.
