We sea trialled and carried out a pre-purchase survey on this Hanse 470e. The setting was a beautiful archipelago near Saltsjobaden just a few miles south of Stockholm, Sweden. This was my third yacht survey in Scandinavia within a few months; it is always odd how some survey locations often seem to group together!
This Hanse 470e sailed beautifully against the stunning backdrop of the archipelago. The photo shows a small passage we had to navigate through to reach the sailing area and then onto the hoist facility.
With a galvanised steel frame supporting the key loads from the keel, mast and chainplates, they don’t get much stronger than this design on modern vessels.
